new to pcs

just bought a new pc, its an atlon 3400 with 160 gb hard drive, 1 gb ram and a reon graphics chip. im new to all this and just on dial up , wondering about on line gaming with dial up and bb as hoping to upgrade asap! thanks in advance!

Well with dial up u wont have that good a time, I really do recomend broadband on a system as powerful as that!!! It would be indecent not to give it bb!!

do u think its a good enough system for new games? its just i/m quite computer uneducated and worried about breakdowns, hardware failures etc!

No thats a n excellent system!!!! It shud b able to play pretty much any game out there, can i ask which radeon graphics card u have!!

Ya graph card my not run some games really smothly like Doom 3 if u have an average graph card but still should be playable with a couple of jilts and jutters sometimes between frames
