Can you test it in a different computer *Just* to be safe,I personally think the card is FUBAR...

Tried uninstalling comodo and reinstalling drivers to no avail. Situation still the same. IS there some software (free) that I can tell if this is a driver or mobo issue? What can I try please?

You can only tell if it's a hardware problem IF the hardware isnt working

Same story with the drivers,I Highly recomend you try it in a differnet computer,if it doesnt work in a differnet computer then the card is FUBAR.

at repair shop now but they haven't touched it yet. Do you think Put the XP CD in and do a repair would of worked?

I Dont think its a problem with XP,The Network card it self is broken,i would take it back under warranty.
