Default New Motherboard

So I bought a motherboard,

Newegg.com - MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard,

The board has 3 power connection slots for the PSU, a 24 pin, an 8 pin,and a 6 pin. The PSU I have has a 24 pin, an 8 pin, and 3 other connectors that are 4 pin. Do I need a different PSU or can I somehow configure the other connectors to make a 6 pin connector?

I'm looking at the details tab of the link in my previous post and they only mention 24 and 8 pin connections, a 6 pin connection isn't mentioned. Maybe I don't to put a connector in the 6 pin socket?

The motherboard book says its for the graphics card. Does it matter if I put it on the card (connector) or the motherboard connector?

Probably should try one and if it works then okay!

Sure did! This board was better than the one I sent back and with the memory it was cheaper!
