Default New monitor?

Hey all, so I am in the market for two new monitors (for an extended desktop setup) and I was wondering what you would recommend. I have a budget of about $500 for the two combined tho I would prefer to minimise cost. I also am looking for something around the 23"/24" screen sizes. The 27" are too big in my opinion. What do u think?? Oh. I would also like to get something that uses IPS cuz those screens are just gorgeous :P

Cheers all,
Sup

I have a pair of Asus 23" panels and they're great. I think they're about $200 a pop.
