Default New Lappy - Needs opinions

I just got approved for a new lappy at the office. My budget is around $1500 USD. I would like to have something that will run a game in a pinch. Maybe BF2 or an MMORPG. Can this happen for this price? Sugestions on specs or links to sales would be helpful.

yes, it can. I recommend you go with AMDs new processor, the AMD Turion CPU. By far, it is the WORLDS MOST EFFICIENT PROCESSOR ever created, having the most power and using the least energy. Lets put it this way. They put a 4000+ in a normal desktop with dual 6800GTs at the AMD plant and tested it on 3DMark05 and got 11000, and then they put a Turion Ma 40 in and ran the same test with the same EXACT setup. It scored 13,500!!! The Turion truly is the Pentium M killer it was made to be. Check out this badass laptop.

Both of these however must be configured to use 128MB of RAM to even think about playing those games u mentioned, especially BF2! The one below is what you NEED to play BF2.

Now, if you could push that budget a bit higher, this laptop truly is the GOD of lappies right now. Powerful graphics, battery life, and the worlds best mobile CPU.

If not, then go with a normal AMD gaming notebook. Configure it here:

That laptop should meet your needs quite well for 1,500. Try that then.

Those links dont work for me. What are the specs on the second HP? I do not know much about moble GPUs. What will I need to pair with the 2Ghz Turion to make a gaming machine?

Would that mean the Turion would eat up my FX-55? =(

But that's not even possible. Laptops can't have SLI, and they can't have 6800GT's. They use Go 6800's.
