Hey guys, short and sweet thread/question:
Pops wants to go and get a new laptop today. Something for work; decent battery life, good price, good performance. Probably 14-15 inches. He's an HP guy, so he'll definitely be sticking to the brand.
Do you all think it's worth waiting for the new i3/i5/i7 chips to make their way into laptops? Would there be enough of a real-life difference between a current-gen i5 and the newer ones? If it will heavily affect battery life, performance, etc., I may convince him to wait it out a few more weeks.
If not, then we're getting a laptop today.
Thoughts?
Cheers,
Chris
