Default New Intel Core Duo

Ok so at work (CompUSA) we just got theses two insane Laptops in from Acer. They are featuring the new Intel DUO chip which i am compleatly impressed with. The lower of the two models features the following.

Intel 1.6 Core Duo (dual core for laptop) with 667Mhz FSB
1gig PC5300
Intel graphics
120gb SATA drive
15.4inch screen
DVD burner
and all the rest of the things you would expect a laptop to have.

The higher of the two models features the same as above +

2gigs PC5400
ATI X1400 with 512MB RAM
Built in web cam
and Bluetooth

So i was curioius to see how this new CPU does so i ran SuperPie and it did 1Million in 36sec INSANE!!! that out performs the Intel Pentium D 2.8 AND the AMD X2 4000+ which did it in 42secs

The new DUO chip also has a 30% more battery life 30% more efficeant and runs 30% cooler then the old Pentium M

I was very impressed
