Default New Graphics Card

so im upgrading my graphics card and was wondering what i should get. i dont really want to spend more than 200 on it. i was looking at these cards what you think is better and such...

i heard that the 7900gs was just as good if not better than the 8600gt what you guys think?

I currently just had a thread similar to this. Get the GeForce 8600GTS. The GTS has a faster Core and Memory Clock than the GT.

ya, agreed, the gt can overclock a little bit, but it cant overclock as much as the GTS so ive read and heard, so you'd be better off spending 50bucks more for the GTS to get higher clocks, dont go with 7series, get 8600gts so you have DX10 and some pretty damn good graphics for your games

The GTS will be faster clock for clock, because it has more stream processors or something like that, I can't remember.
