was wondering this card can run guidwars,mw2,cod4, and battlefield modern combat 2(the new one)

probably could.

I use a 4850HD and it maxs all those games and then some, my PC runs those games at 60+ Fps with ease

though it depends on your screen size.

ya, that 4850 would rape on that resolution.

not so sure about the 4770


newegg seems to be out of stock on the 4850.

tigerdirect dosnt have them listed.

but you can get the next step up from the 4850, the 4870, at tigerdirect

and 512MB Vram is plenty for your monitor. only need the 1GB for higher resolutions.

both cards you posted are DDR3


though the 4770 you first posted is DDR5, that dosnt count for much since it is got less streaming units.
and the 4770 is 128 bit and the 4850 is 256 bit.

the 512MB model

XFX HD4850 512MB to be exact.
