New Dual Core Processor, but will it fit my MoBo?

So that would fit my mobo? I opened my computer and the two numbers on the board were:

AA C37257-606 and
CN-0F2905-48112-392-0067

Also, do you guys have a recommendation for a mobo that would could go with the Athlon x2 that foothead suggested?

yes, that would fit your motherboard but the chip is extremely expensive (~$400 is the cheapest I saw) and you could just build a better performing system for less...

foothead and the other AMDtards (JK ) will hook you up with a good AMD build that would pwn your current system even if you had that $400 cpu...

If you want to go more than 1 core it's time to upgrade the computer. Really not worth upgrading the CPU in that system IMO.

It isn't possible.

Upgrading the whole computer isn't necessary, just the motherboard and CPU, and (possibly, if it isn't DDR2) the RAM.

Problem with dell towers is they're mirrored. Imagine putting the mobo on the other side. So instead of the back facing your left when your looking at the mobo, it's to the right.
