If you have $400, you could put together a true surround sound system, which would definitely blow all the ones you listed away.

Well, it will be compatible with your computer 100% (s/pdif or hdmi cable) and you really do not make anything, all you do is hook it up.

How about this?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882120128

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882290066

The reciever does not have S/PDIF input, but will still sound amazing through RCA. I'll keep looking for a good one with S/PDIF though.

EDIT: http://www.ecost.com/detail.aspx?edp...LAID=366943188 Has two S/PDIF optical inputs, according to the specs page. IMO, Onkyo is a bit above Denon in quality, but I would definitely get this one at your budget.

EDIT10: Dang, this has some awesome connectivity.

Out of the choices listed, I would get the Bose. I just like how them things sound.
