The memory has already been taken care of.

This is a budget gaming system, I am upgrading from a 300mhz system. Nuff said about that.

What do you guys think?

I think that its gonna blow your mind, because its so much faster then a 300mhz system. :D

:p It hasn't been tooooo bad. My dad would always let me use his workstation for games. (only a 2.4ghz with a ti4200, it's gonna be eaten alive by this new system)

The only thing that I will probably change to the system after getting these parts would be... better memory, and a decent sound card (audigy2 would do nicely)

Right now, the ram I have is a 1gb GEIL, CAS3. Now it's a decent stick, but wont get me into dual channel, and has kinda high cas. But it will be perfect for a workstation computer down the road after I get a 2x1gb pack for this new system. I will try to get it at a cas of 2.

Yeah, memory is a big thing. But, trust me, I only have a gig, and an Intel processor, and its lightening fast, and your processor is faster then mine. So you dont need to worry yet.

I'm like a little school girl giggling over here, I have waited so long for this thing.. if newegg is on the ball like usual, I will have the parts by friday. (just in time to call a bunch of buds over and LAN it up.. assuming none of my parts are DOA or anything.)

Wow...for a budget system that will pack quite a punch. That 3200+ can overclock so nicely. I have mine running at 2.4ghz with only 1.45v and it's perfectly stable (10 x 240). :D

Nice. I might overclock mine... but not for a while. I don't even want to go near it while using stock cooling.

so what games are you looking to play on it? yeah, from a 300mhz system? it's gona be a like a whole new world. whered you order it from and how much did you pay for it?
