Questions:
I heard the vista 64 bit is not too compatible with many games.
Do I need thermal paste?
Anything else or is there something wrong with the set up?

well first think i noticed is the vid vard , you could just get the normal evga 8800gts and overclock it yourself , and knowing evga and there great warrent yit will prolly still be covered

ya get a cheeper video card
and a core2qaud if your ganna spend that much
i mean there 300 now im sure u could cut some things out
like a lower powersupply unless your doin sli
for your cooler get a zalman 7900 and artic silver 5 cuz ya u do need past that
is crap like the ones that come for free
and no games work fine with vista 64bit
but unless your getting above 3g of ram theres no need for it yet
get it if u plan on have 4g very soon

What cheaper gfx card do you recommend, i need something to run smoothly err like crysis

and should i get 600 watt for power?

Cant recommend the evga 680i mobo enough so if i were u id get that instead. IF you can afford a GTX get that rather than the gts, no idea how that will run crysis, although saying that the 9k series are coming out soon i think they will be much more powerful. The links still dont work.

my i suggest this setup a evga 680i A1 mobo there is nothing that runs all four cores on a quad so id say a c2d such as the E6850 with is 3.0ghz a mb cache and a 1333mhz fsb id say 2 gig of say OZC platnum PC2-8500 ram and a 640mb 8800gts and windows xp home

650i is plenty. id say get the normal eVGA 8800GTS and get a quad core, than you wont need to overclock

no get the 680i mb!!!! u can upgrade to intels new line coming out
and get the cheep quad core crysis will love that
and gpu get the 640mb gts
and psu get a 650 watt should be fine
