I need suggestions.

I don't need a PSU, or a Video card,

Can't spend over 600$

This will be a slight gaming rig, with stuff like music, and everyday use..

Note: This will be an XP machine, that I'll upgrade to Win7 when that comes out.

Also the Video Card is a Nividia 7950 GT: which is old, and outdated, but it serves its purpose for the gaming I do and I'll update to a new card probably next year

PSU is an Antec 500 Earthwatts

Here is what I got:

Processor- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115036
Ram- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231166
Case- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042
HDD- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136218

=$500ish

I'd rather save the $$ and get a way better one down the road.

My 7950 serves me well for the older games that I play. = )

I would swap out the CPU and motherboard for a Phenom II 940 and a 790GX. It would perform better in the majority of apps.

I agree that keeping your current card is the best way forward if you don't need anything more powerful.
