Default New Comp Build

I need suggestions.

I don't need a PSU, or a Video card,

Can't spend over 600$

This will be a slight gaming rig, with stuff like music, and everyday use..

Note: This will be an XP machine, that I'll upgrade to Win7 when that comes out.

Also the Video Card is a Nividia 7950 GT: which is old, and outdated, but it serves its purpose for the gaming I do and I'll update to a new card probably next year

PSU is an Antec 500 Earthwatts

Here is what I got:
Mobo- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128358
Processor- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115036
Ram- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231166
Case- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129042
HDD- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136218

=$500ish

Hmmm looks good! If your looking at 600, and this all comes to 500, why not spend the extra 99.99 and get this?

That'll be 600 there,and you'll have the vid card

Just a sugg.

I'd rather save the $$ and get a way better one down the road.

My 7950 serves me well for the older games that I play. = )

I would swap out the CPU and motherboard for a Phenom II 940 and a 790GX. It would perform better in the majority of apps.

I agree that keeping your current card is the best way forward if you don't need anything more powerful.
