Default new Comp

how is this for a dirt cheap system, well i only got 300 so i though this would work

mobo:32.02
P5V800-MX from ASUS. Chipset - P4M800/VT8251. FSB - 800/533/400. Memory - 2 DDR up to 2GB. IDE - 133 x 2 and SATAII x 2. 8xAGP. Audio - AD1986A - 6 channel Hi-Def. PCI - 2. PCI-Ex - 1. LAN - 10/100. Micro-ATX form factor. USB 2.0.

Proc: 72.08
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2140 (1.6GHz - 1MB Cache - 800MHz FSB - Socket 775)

RAM: 50.82
PC3200 1024MB DDR (1GB) Certified
(would that work with my board)

HDD: 36.88
80GB 7200 RPM SATA II Seagate

Optical Drive: 23.39
52x32x52x16 CDRW/DVD Black Combo Retail

case: 21.33
CG 1019-CA BLK/SILVER (400w-PS)

the total is like 268.80 dollars,

i think its decent for the price, dont really want to go much more since its xmas is coming around, tell me what you think

not bad for a dirt cheap build,,and you still get a dual core with 1GB ram. you didn't price in an operating system though..maybe vista home premium oem version added in?...currently $111 at newegg.

no ill still use xp, i have a key code and a cd, so no OS needed, yea im looking at the C2D, but first i need to look at my checking book
