all i really need so far is ram, anyone know any that are good?

I wouldn't bother running SLI on 8500GT's.
Go for a higher end card, which will be better than 2 of those put together. Plus, some games don't even like SLI so you won't get a boost.

Buy a 8800GTS 320MB at least, if you are thinking of gaming.

Not really...160 gigs is plenty for most people. I'd say a general user probably only uses 40 gigs.

160 gb is fine...i just dl music, and most of the time only game i play is cs..

uh my budget is low seeing as though i dont have a job..but i have been saving so much money now, that im almost done.

only things you guys can help me out with would be vid card, ram and power suppply. i got the rest..
