I have windows vista OS on my current computer if i put that hard drive in this build using SATA i would be ok right?

If you format that drive and use it as the data disk, it will be fine.

I'd suggest an Ivy Bridge processor instead, but it doesn't matter that much. Also, do you know that motherboard is a micro mobo?
