Default New Build - HDD Problem

The computer is running very nicely now except a lot of the time you can hear the hardrive constantly loading something, as if it was taking forever to do something but the computer is still running quick. I have installed Windows Vista Ultimate on the pc (64 Bit) and I don't see how it could be the computer being "below the requirements". Anyone got any ideas?

PC Spec:
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit
4096MB DDR2 @ 925MHz
400GB Sata II 7200RPM HDD
Core 2 Duo E7200 @ 3.40 GHz
nVidia 8800GTS 512MB G92
650W PSU

You should disable it as Vista tends to swap data between the RAM and the HDD a lot.
