The 5770 will be by far the weakest link in that build. I would personally upgrade, but a 5770 is still a very good card.

https://www.sabrepc.com/p-126-vision...16-retail.aspx This is an epic deal on a 5850.

Well I can't argue at that price. If he can stretch another 100 dollars out, it'll be good. But he was supposed to stay under 650 in the first place and he's already 100 dollars overbudget.

NVM I guess it was 750 X(

No.

A 5850 would be, on average, about twice the performance of a 5770. consider it if you can. If not, the 5770 is a very good card still.

ok so i'm not a tech genius but a 5770.
A game I play has antialiasing, MSA, and shader. How high can a 5770 go on a game like Counter Strike: Source, or Ace Online. Basically imtermediate 3D gaming

ummm... not intermediate, lol.

That is like ancient stuff. A 5770 is overkill for that.

Play stalker, crysis, etc. then you will understand.

Basically, get the 5770 and you will be good for quite a while for that type of gaming.

5750 actually is better for price/performance though.

Newegg one?

Its much easier to learn from experience. Take an old dell apart and put it back together once or twice and you are good. Just be sure to either map out the FP headers or find a diagram for the mobo.
