Hey guys, I'm wanting to build a new computer and can't decide if I want a micro board in a lanbox or a regular full tower for a little more. i've put together two different builds on newegg.

Same for both systems:

The full tower is a little more expensive, but I would have more room for upgrades (which im not entirely sure i would even do). But i also kind of like the idea of having a little smaller case. so im torn. can anyone tell me how much if any of a better system the full tower is than the micro? every review i found for the DFI board has been good. soo...

yeah right you are
i think the 900 is plenty big enough for me tho, but good call

lol alright. i've always kinda liked asus. but which should i go w/? i was plannin on the lanbox one up untill about 2 hrs ago. does it look like a comparable system?

well most people here will says asus man and if you really like them that much go for it but id go with the Evga x58 LE. Im not really sure why u need a system just for lans ? cant u just use the full tower build for lans aswell, instead of spending so much on a lanbox you could get a GTX 295 from evga or if you want to conserver ur money go with the ATi 4870x2. Will u be doing any overclocking ?

ya i'd like to overclock some, nothing hardcore tho. ill be living in a small dorm in college this fall and spring, so thats really the only reason i'd get it. i've just kinda liked the lower profile of it. but im startin to think it may have been a silly idea

save your money bro.

If you really want to put that much money into this, scratch the lanbox and get an intel i7 965(thats the extreme), and get the GTX 295. Also get a cpu cooler. The coolermaster v8 looks BEAST. Also if you want you can buy the corsair tx850, i know its 100 more watts than the corsair u listed but its only like $20 more, if you want.

the extremes are very highly overclockable man and are extremely nice, thats why they call them extreme lol.
