Retail is also only allowed to be installed on one computer at a time, as is OEM. They are identical in every way, except retail included both 32 bit and 64 bit and OEM must be purchased with hardware.

You can give Microsoft an call if you uninstall it from one system and want to install it on another.

Oh I see. Well, for those who don't mind doing that then just get OEM. I personally would feel a little more comfortable with retail, but that's like a little thing I have. I like retail stuff.

I like retail motherboard, PSUs etc. But I will always buy an OS OEM.
