8600GTS is a great card, probably as good as bang for buck as the 8800GT

the 8600GTS is a lot of power for a non gamer although it does multimedia brilliantly. you shouldnt have to upgrade for a while.

ive got a very similar build except intel version of the board
and ddr3 ram with a 8800gt

great build btw. and the 8600 GT is good enough(even if you want to get a few frags ocassionally)

damn dude have fun building that...

i think Vista has a feature that when u minimize a game, it doesn't take all the RAM up.. XP doesn't have that, just thought id add that cuz its a cool feature.
