ok i have some of my parts orderered and im still not sure on which motherboard i want to use but im interested in these
two. if anyone has any more motherboard suggestions please let me know. I have never really been a fan of the DFI boards i usually only use asus.

ok well so far these are the parts that im going to be ordering tonight

intel core 2 duo E6420
300GB Seagate SATA HD
2GB crucial ballistix pc2 8000
the only thing im unsure of is the mobo either the EVGA or XFX 680i LT chipset or the asus p5n32-e sli 680i.

The 680i LT has an 8-pin connector, so I'd make sure your PSU has the pin for it.

i thought you can plug the 4 pin into the 8pin connector?

Personally, I don't know. It's the first time I've seen that pin layout. I guess you can. Just take a look at the reviews, before buying.
