Default network cable

i need like 100 foot of network cable and i know nothing about networking or network cable the router im getting is the dlink gamer router is there a btter one out there?

Their's always a better router than the one you have.

For Network cable, Any cat5E or cat6 (better idea if you plan on running gigabit) will do.

well i have comcast 8 meg internet to i need the cat6 to get the full connection off of it?

cat 6 is lower ping

is Cat6 that much better? Not to throw you off topic, but we are networking our whole house with a 24port 10/100/1000 switch and we were planning on cat5e but is cat6 that much better? We will have a media server and all that.
