Network Data Transfer

I have about 12gb of data that I want to transfer from one computer to another, and since I dont have a dvd burner, I dont really want to use about 18 discs to do it. How would I transfer the data over an ethernet cable to the other computer? Thanks.

AIM..or MSN...either way they will be extremely fast...I usually send my stuff over at about 3MB per second.

The crossover cable will be your best, and most reliable way of doing it.

If you already have a home network setup, just send it to any computer that's on the network via wireless router.

I agree with the crossover cable being the simplest and most reliable form of communication. You can make it yourself or buy one from a computer store.
