What if I ordered the parts, and hen payer someone else to set it up? You think that'd be cheaper?

I think you should do the build.
I'm 14 (Turned 14 on Tuesday) and I'm starting a build too, age doesn't matter, we have people here who started building at 10
The people would charge you a bit I bet to do it, and then you don't know HOW it's built the QUALITY of it or anything.
Go for a build my friend, as for the computer you were looking at, I wouldn't say it's a gamer, really.

if you buy the parts and just read the manual you should get it

its not that hard really, it took me 2-3 to figure out the whole thing, and i'm only twelve.

Yup. My first build all I did was make sure that the parts I ordered had connectors that matched my MoBo, bought em, then put it together pretty much without looking at manuals. Only looked at a manual once, and that was to set the jumpers on the MoBo. I was right at 13 or 14 when I did it, and my computer still works. Making a new one so I can actually game and whatnot (my computer can hardly manage Fable, and can't do Spore at all) but 4 years for a comp isn't so bad.
