dude, being cheap is one thing, I'm cheap as hell, but being stupid is another, get some antistatic bags so all the stuff you got (FOR FREE) aren't just paperweights when you get home...

if gaming isn't a priority right now don't go crazy with the processor and RAM, scale those back a little so you have some cash left over, if you aren't gaming only get 2GBs of RAM and you'll have some money for antistatic bags and other things you may need...
^This. It will be worth it to pay a few dollars for the bags.

%#&* forgot his board had only one slot. lol.

Send one to me lol. I'll pay for shipping plus a little extra.

That would work but might be a hassle at the airport.
It'll be fine just through check-in, not carry-on, right?? I mean, they don't check those.

Crucial dual channel or crucial one stick that ends at like 9am tomorrow??

Have you heard good things about PQi?

I don't know if it'll be compatible with my motherboard... it wasn't on the "supported memory" list.

DO YOU THINK I BROKE THE HARD DRIVES?! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Dual channel crucial. PQI is OK, just not the greatest.

You have an ASUS AMD mobo... shoot... they have the issues with RAM.

google the mobo model and RAM model and see if you can find anyone who has tried them.
