Default Need a VGA over Cat5 extender...

Well, pretty simple. Our church needs one.

I imagine the Cat5 run will be around 200-250ft.

This one was recommended to me on the projector forum I've been working with on the project. It seems to be of high quality, but I was wondering if anyone had other suggestions. I can get the unit on Buy.com (or Amazon) for $200.

I would probably be using this cabling.

I've been dealing with entire KVM over Cat5e solutions, and I can tell you they're not perfect but they serve their purpose. $200 seems very reasonable for such a product, I think our extenders cost well over a grand apiece.

Depending on how much slack you'll have on the end of that cable, you might want to look into getting a crimping tool and some connectors and slap a new end on it, isn't terribly difficult to do.
