Hey guys, I'm very new to these forums, and I don't know too much of anything about this kinda stuff. But I'm trying to upgrade my computer. And I need some help to see if everything is compatible.

Current specs
Windows Vista Home premium SP2. 32 bit.
AMD Athalon 64 x2 Dual core processor 4200 2.20 ghz
3G of ram, about to be 4

What I'm looking to buy is this Motherboard/CPU Combo : Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more!

My price range is between 100-200 ( If anyone knows anything a little better than this around the price range please let me know)

The combo seems very compatible to your graphics card, but I believe you can find better parts like a better processor. If youre into AMD you can still keep the motherboard and change your processor to a quad core (AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz), it would still be under 200. You can experiment the price range and see what happens.

If you buy the combo you will have to buy DDR3 ram also.
