Default Need some help with software tweaking

My computer is a P4 3.00Ghz (clocked to 3.2), 480 MB RAM, with a the default SiS 661FX Display device with 32.0 MB total memory. Windows XP Pro

I've mucked about a little with the startup programs and services but is there anything else I can do to make my computer run a bit faster? Maybe a program or something?

Have you defragged? That will help a lot. And also run a spyware and antivirus scan. That will help a lot too. try Disk Cleanup too! Hope it helps... nice name btw. Fatal1ty, after that famous pro gamer with the new mobo's and stuff out there. Man, I wish I could be him. Play games for a living... *sigh* lol.

I never really had the time to defrag but I do scan and disk-cleanup my comp everyday. But with the holidays coming up, I think I might.
