ok, which amd processor would be the equivalent of a pentium 4 prescott w/ htt? (this processor can be overclocked to the speed also, such as oc'ing a 3000+ to the speed of a 3500+)

depends on the amount of ghz in the p4.

But the number in the amd processor (3500+, 4000+ etc) is supposed to compare it to the p4 processor. Like a 3500+ would be the same as a 3.5ghz p4 prescott. But keep in mind that this kind of comparison isn't accurate.

2.8 ghz and 3.0ghz for intel
