Alrite.
Well currently in my computer, i have a 160 gb hdd and a 80 gb hdd.
Both of them have XP loaded on them so i have that dual boot screen come up.
Now, i decided to take out my 80, i need it for something else. And the computer doesnt want to boot with out. It says "Boot Failure: System Halted"
What do i do so i can take it out?

That's because the MBR (Master Boot Record) was on the 80G. Without that MBR you cannot boot up Windows. Put in the 80G and take out the 160G and tell me what happens.

Same thing, i thought that too, becuase i had a similar problem long time ago.
So right away I tried both ways and i have the same problem. But if i got XP on each one, then wouldnt there be 2 MBR, one on each??

Okay, I just went into my BIOS and changed my boot to make the 160GB number 1. And now i get "NTLDR is missing"
