Default Need some help for my friend's comp.

Ok well my friend is having trouble with his comp and neither one of us knows what it is. We THINK it's his GFX Card but we're not sure. He's running Windows Vista and his GFX Card is a Radeon 9250 256MB. I don't know if it's Vista compatible or not, it worked fine with XP. Please help, he can't play WoW lol. Thanks in advance.

that card should be vista compatable.

What's going on that he can't play WoW? is he getting an error message, is it crashing, or what?

Also, if he has Aero enabled, try disabling it to free up some RAM. Aero is the biggest memery hog of Vista.

Default Re: Need some help for my friend's comp.

Just found out it's the same one he had before, but it fixed itself before, now it's not fixing itself lol.

This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:00632915

The instruction at "0x00632915" referenced memory at "0x00000054".
The memory could not be "read".

Any help is appreciate.
