Need some advice

Alright so my mobo fried last weekend after a power outage ( T_T ). I currently have:
P4 3.2 prescott (socket 478)
RAdeon 9800 Pro
2 Gigz Corsair

I obviously have to get a new mobo. My issue is this: I believe that most of the new video cards are coming out PCI express, so being that I do plan on upgrading my video card sometime in the near by future I would like to get a mobo that is compatible so that I dont have to buy another one in a few months. If I were to buy a new one now, then i would also have to buy a new processor because I've yet to see a mobo with PCI express slots that supports my processor. So my question is: Would it be best to just buy all 3 now (mobo, graphics card, and processor)? And if i did, would I have to change my HD's or anything else? (My HD's are IDE's and I believe my mem is 184 pin) OR should I just buy a temp mobo and replace the whole thing in a few months?

Any help/advice you guys can give me on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
