Hi guys,

My local store is having a huge grand opening sale tomorrow that I would love to take advantage of. I've picked select pieces of hardware and I was hoping if you guys can just quickly read over and see if everything is compatible. I'm an intermediate PC user, but I don't know much on mobo's and PCI-E 2.0 x16 and such.
Note that this PC is going to be used primarily for gaming.

Special Deals:
CCComputers

Detail-specific hardware
Intel Core i5-2500K
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4 Mobo
EVGA GeForce GTX 570 GDDR5 x2

I also need help deciding on what RAM I should get, and if I need to purchase a Cooler.

If you look at the site, there are three different offerings of 8GB DDR3 Ram.
G.Skill @ 1866MHz at $60
Mushkin @ 1333 MHz @ $25
Patriot @ 1333MHz @ $40
I don't know if 1866 MHz is superior enough over 1333 MHz for the $35 difference!

I don't know anything about Coolers as well, so I'm hoping you guys can suggest if those offerings on the deal site are appropriate for my mobo, and if I need them
Cooler Master V6GT CPU Cooler

Corsair Hydro Series H60

Antec Kuhler 620

Antec Kuhler 920

One question also:
I'm going to be purchasing two of the GPUs, and I read that I need two PCI Express 2.0 slots. Though, this mobo only has one slot at 16x and another at 8x. Is this going to be a problem for gaming performance? Or should I look for a mobo with two slots at 16x?

Thanks, sorry if I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about!

In my opinion go with that h60. It's a self contained water cooling setup. Many enjoy it more than traditional methods.

Yeah I read favorable reviews through google.

How about RAM? What do you recommend from that list?

I don't do much with ram, i'm still on am2+ socket and ddr2 ram. My opinion would be as good as a toddler's. I just gave information on what i was more confident about. :)

If you're using AMD, 1333 is fast enough until AM3+ and Bulldozer hit. For Intel, absolutely, the faster the better.

G.Skill is godly RAM right now, and Patriot I've had great luck with. I'm normally a Mushkin guy, but most of the RAM I've bought from them lately has had problems, so they're temporarily on my black list again.

Alright so tomorrow I guess I'm set on purchasing all of these

$64.99 OCZ StealthXStream
$164.99 Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3
$309.99 EVGA GTX 570 HD
$309.99 EVGA GTX 570 HD
$229.99 Intel i5-2500K
$39.99 Corsair Hydro Series H60
$49.99 Patriot Sector 5

Case can be
$124.99 Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced
or
$84. 99 Antec DF-35 Dark Fleet

Total cash price is <$1264.92 or $1429.36 with taxes
After MIR, that's $1289.36

Not bad!

THanks
