need quick help

im trying to flash my video card and i cant get my floppy drive to work. everytime i try to do something with it this is what it says.

No ID Address mark was found on floppy disk.

what does this mean and how to i fix it?

did u make sure all the wires are conencted securily and properlyl?

can't u do the flash operation with a bootable cd?
