Need a new DVD burner

Looking for a reliable burner for my tower, at an affordable price.

SATA or IDE?

I would recommend LG Sata DVD burner. I try to avoid Lite-ON. I had two die on me. I had good experiences with LG optical drives.

Dont install any LG software... EVER

It does crazy stuff.

I dont buy LG anymore since the whole 'bluebirds' thing.
Pathetic. There was adware built into the drives firmware and it would try to make you install it every time you opened or closed the drive.
