Well, I need a new computer because my current one crashed to an unrecoverable point (I'm on a Laptop right now). This time I wanna be smart when shopping for a computer.

I need a computer that has at least 500gigs of space, I could accept 350 gigs, just not below 300, a good graphics card for gaming and a fast processor.

My budget is around $850. I rather not go over 900$.

Is monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers included in that price? Also, are you looking at pre-built or build your own?

I'm guessing you mean a desktop, right?

And if so, do you want to build it yourself, buy a custom-built one, or get a brand name? If you build it yourself, you can save a bundle of money and have great performance.

So which is it? :)

I already have the screen and stuff, just the tower will do. I don't want XP btw, I want Vista. How much can I save by building one? I never built one before.

Unless you find a killer deal at some store for a pre-built brand-name one, you can save a lot of money. I can't make a sample build for you right now since I'm leaving the house but I'm sure someone will do it asap. You can easily save hundreds by building your own.

That's just a suggestion for you to go off of. This would make a great gaming rig, with killer everyday performance, too. And you get your 500 gb hard drive you want. You can, of course, get cheaper or less RAM, get a less expensive CPU and graphics card, etc. It all depends on what kinda games you wanna play.

Hope that helps.
