Well if you have the monitor, keyboard, mouse and CD drive, then you're looking at still a computer that will set you back at least $2000, and that's getting away with bare minimum specs unfortunately

If you're after a gaming PC, then it might be worth using parts from your old computer as some parts don't date as quickly as others.

TRDCorolla will do a good job for you, I mean he showed me what good parts to buy for mine when I was a noob. I'm sure the parts he gets will be great for a gaming PC just as long as you can build it because it is way cheaper to build it yourself, rather than relying on companies to do it for you

This will run around $1000 more or less depending on taxes. I included all shipping costs. I would be proud of this build for the price.

Oh darn, I forgot to include system fans. They're dirt cheap like around $5.00 $10.00 each. It uses a 120mm rear fan, an inculded side fan. Plus you may want to get an exhaust blower for another $15 something dollars. Oh, for sound, I didn't include on because the integrated sound on that motherboard uses Realtek 8 channel surround sound already. Unless you don't like integrated hardware, this sound card is nice and you can add this on to the total price:

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS GAMER Limited Edition 70SB035000013 8 (7.1) Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card - Retail

There you go Looks like a gooid setup to me too, and will play games like BF2 on medium graphics, which is great for a computer around the $1200 figure

Well done TRDCorolla

Thanks, I edited my previous post to show you...near the bottom are the sound card I personally would choose. I have that same card and I love it. DTS and THX certified, can't get better for the price.
