Default need more help deciding video card

Anyway I have my entire setup just need a video card. Im looking to spend around 300$ and it has to be agp. So far im thinkin abou the Geforce 6800 OC for 250$ but please give me some suggestions im stuck 300$ is right in the middle between the lower cards and the higher cards.

ive been looking the cheapest ive seen the 6800 gt with 256 mb is for 370$. Today bestbuy had a sale 25% all pny cards but they only had the 6600gt.

6600gt isnt a bad card

No it isnt. I have two, and watch out, they pwn (together) anything by itself!! The 6600GT can haul @ss at 500/1000 clock rates!!! And you can OC it to 550/1150 with ease and proper cooling! These things scream!! I will post 3DMark03 and 05 scores on Wednesday!!

yeah thats with 2 though when you only have one they start to go to crap at higher resolutions and aa/af.

yeah, but aCb wanted AGP interface. I would get that one though if I were using AGP and not PCIe.

my bad, yeah get a 6800 ultra if it can be in agp b/c the 6600gt gets simunar fps to the 6800 non ultra.
