Default need memory back

I am running windows XP I have 64 mb total physical memory & have 4.39 available physical memory left. I hav deleted some programs that i have not been using but still cant get the memory back. Can someone help me?

i would just upgrade yer memory & add another stick.

the memory should be at least 256mb , but you'll be better off at 512 mb.

although there are programs that give you back memory but i have tried some of these programs & although they did give me back some memory, it mad the comp. freeze up.

i've tested most programs & i don't like them at all...so i would just upgrade the memory.

Yeah 64 is the bare minimum for XP. You should really upgrade to at least 256

owch.....my system on ME would suck at 64mb. I take it you have like a 200MHZ processor so you dont notice speeds and such?
