I have a friend who has an older PC. He wants to game with me online, so I asked him to send me his specs. This is what he sent...

AMD Athlon64x2 dual processor 5200+ 2.0GB RAM ATI Radeon 4800 series card

Mother board is this one GIGABYTE GA-MA78GPM-DS2H AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Newegg.com

What can be done to this to get him gaming ? Or is it too old all together ? He's gonna need some more RAM... will that set up support a decent GPU ?

There is a limit to what CPU's we can put in it.
But a new 2x4 gig RAM kit and a better GPU would do wonders. As long as we are not talking modern triple A titles. That CPU is gonna bottleneck a modern gaming GPU. Not to mention if his PSU is even ready for a GPU upgrade.

What games are we talking about here?
Can we get a model name on his computer?
