okay i actuall just firgured out alot.
so i got a socket sp1
single core
with 638 pins
do i have to find a exact match
on the socket for a dual core?
AND one more question. can you use a s1g2 on a s1g1 socket?
both 638pin 3.5x3.5
and s1 socket. only thing is one runs 35 watts at 100 degrees
and my current runs 15w at 95degrees
its a AMD athlon 64 TF-20
and i want to replace with a AMD athlon 64 x2 QL-60
or and QL up to a 67
