Default Need a laptop

I'm shopping for a gaming notebook to hack into a gaming coffee table book, and was wondering if there are any more options besides what I've found. It needs to be really cheap, and I need to be able to find one in really beat up, but still working condition. For budget, lets' say about $300. Right now, the two I'm considering are the ASUS G51VX-RX05 and the ASUS G50VT-X5. It will be used almost exclusively for flight simulators.

As far as specs, I need at least Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, and decent gaming graphics. I'd really like a 9800M or better, but if it were really cheap, I could settle with a bit less for now.
Any ideas?
