need to know if im doing this right

so i got partition magic and ran through the "make partition" wizard, and i did all the settings. now it rebooted my computer and its performing the tasks before it booted windows. did i do everything right? by the way, the partition is 10 gigs and why is it showing that it has to do 3 tasks?

Same here, i did one thing it says please restart to do the following 3 tasks, i restarted and it just said some error and it wouldnt work. I have had a bad experiance with Partition magic everytime i restart the computer it says some kind of batch error so i gave up. You are doing it right though..

Ive never had any of those problems using the good ol' 98 boot disk

yes, but i needed to create a partition without formatting, and 100 dollars did it for me
