Default Need help upgrading my CPU

First off, I'd like to say that I'm new here. As of right now, I currently have this motherboard, http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...692718&lang=en. And I would like to upgrade to this processor, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115059. According to the motherboard site, all the specs line up, but I'm still cautious because I can't refund the processor if it doesn't work. Will I be able to upgrade to this processor? And what is the difference between Wolfdale and Wolfdale-m? Thanks in advance.

You might get more replies posting this in the Hardware section. (not that this is the wrong section, just that Hardware is viewed much more often, and its not off-topic there either).

That processor is compatible with your motherboard. You shouldn't have any problems.

I agree that your board will support it. I don't know what you have on there now, but you might want to think about getting something to cool your cpu too. But, I don't know what your temps are now.
