the bios is not putting my cd rom in the line up on the booting pority bit .... plezz does anybody know how to make it go on there so i can set it as the cd rom to boot up so i can install xp .. ?

i tried another cd drive ..... and that dident work so help me lol ........

download an xp boot disk. put that in. set the floppy to boot 1st then on the command line type in d:\setup or whatever the setup file for xp is

... i havent got no os installed you know that >? or you do know if you do soz and hmmm i dont understand about the d: bit ?? file name for wat >

Boot from the Cd.
Make a new partition with your hard drive
Format it under NTFS (Quick) for a quicker format...or wait almost an hour if you do it full
Let it go and come ack in about 15 minutes to do the rest

dont need an os

d:\ is what the cd rom usually comes under (drive letter)

this and wat else you said is liek kind of wrong because i havent even got to that part yet just every time it loads up it sayd operating system not found .
