hi guys i need help finding good parts for my sister computer, she wants a amd athlon 64 3500+ in it but dont know wat kind of mobo and stuff. it is going to be used for business stuff and some games (not hardcore games but like um battlefield 1942). please keep it reasonable because she doesnt want to spend alot. thx guys really appreciate it.

-amd 64 3500 Winchester (must be winchester)
-msi neo4 platinum sli ( i think thats what its called)
-1 GB PC3200 DDR400 dua; channal ram (must be CAS latency 2.5 or 2)
-1 or 2 6600GT's
-raptor hdd at 10,000rpm for os and a 200gb hdd for storage
get a thermlatake case, with at least a 400watt psu,im gonna reccomend a 480

blahblah he said his sister didnt wanna spend that much.
a geforce 6600gt prolly isnt necisary since she isnt a hardcore gamer but it would still prolly be nice. I wouldnt get a SLI mobo just stick with 1x pcie or agp slot.

She wants a 3500 but doesn't want to spend much?

She's after the wrong Processor if that's the case - you need stuff like that (not SLi, 512Meg instead of a Gig, and probably only one 6600 or 5950) to make it worth buying the Processor.

the 10000 rpm in my onpion is a waste of money, If you have the money go w/ a scsi 15000 rpm if not the go with a 300Gb mator 16mb cach johnny for the same amount.

Anyway for ~1300 bucks she ca get this bad johnny below. w/ a 200gb HDD

If you go with a 15,000RPM SCSI you're going to end up requiring the huge money for a SCSI PCI Card and the fact that not only does nobody need a 15k RPM Hard Drive but its dreadfully expensive. 300Gig Maxtor isn't going to be any cheaper either.

Just get a normal Hard Drive :D
