Need help learning about hardware

Hi, I was wondering if you guys could point me too any free online resources or books for learning about computer hardware.

I already know most of the basic parts of a computer... but beyond that I know nothing. If you gave me a new computer part I'd have no idea how to install it myself.

I would like to know basicaly everything there is to know about computer hardware. I want to know exacly how my computer works.... I want to know enough to work as a computer engineer. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.

Simply type in Google Search "Computer Hardware" and a whole list will come up.
Also, I suggest investigating A+, as it leads to the history of computers, to indepth coverage of todays hardware. Happy hunting!
